To take an exam, you will need an ArmCare Strength Sensor along with the attachment straps. You can connect to any ArmCare Sensor if you’ve got access to one through your organization or teammate.
In addition to testing with your team or at a facility, we recommend that you purchase your own ArmCare Sensor and training equipment, as you will be able to monitor your arm strength, range of motion anywhere, at any time, and train all year round.
The Basic version of the ArmCare App is Free. Upgrade to premium for $72.00/year using the in-app upgrade.
Yes, auto-renew will be turned on by default, but you can easily cancel your membership in the menu screen of the app.
The arm care app is available for Android. The version is slightly different than iOS.

Yes, the Arm Care Training Equipment Bundle will include all of the gear needed to complete the custom exercises prescribed in the App. However, you may already have Crossover Symmetry equipment or other equipment that will suffice. For that reason, purchasing a Training Kit is not required.

Yes. If you currently throw less than 90 mph, you should expect to see at least 4mph in velocity gains within 10 weeks of starting the ArmCare program.
You do have to put in the work – which means completing your check ins, prep, strength and recovery workouts consistently and doing a fresh and post exam at least once a week.

Yes. Injured athletes can evaluate their non-throwing arm to evaluate strength gains as the throwing arm is rehabilitating. Increased strength gains in the non-throwing arm can maintain strength in injured arms. When medically cleared, injured athletes should test their throwing arms to individualize throwing programs and training.
We encourage athletes to utilize the platform at the onset of pitching, which can be as young as 8 years old. We firmly suggest by the age of 10, athletes identify their arm strength imbalances and deficits, as well as range of motion measures to advance performance and reduce the risk of injury.
