To take an exam, you will need an ArmCare Strength Sensor along with the attachment straps. You can connect to any ArmCare Sensor if you’ve got access to one through your organization or teammate.
In addition to testing with your team or at a facility, we recommend that you purchase your own ArmCare Sensor and training equipment, as you will be able to monitor your arm strength, range of motion anywhere, at any time, and train all year round.
Arm exams use the Strength Sensor to measure rotator cuff strength and range of motion. The App guides you through the exam, so you know exactly what to do. Exams take from 90 seconds to 6 minutes to complete.
The Arm Care App uses your exam results to identify weak links and prescribes targeted exercises to address them.
The ArmCare Training Kit has training equipment specifically matched to the exercises prescribed by the Player App. However, you may already have Crossover Symmetry equipment or other equipment that will suffice. For that reason, purchasing a Training Kit is not required.
Yes. If you currently throw less than 90 mph, you should expect to see at least 4mph in velocity gains within 10 weeks of starting the ArmCare program.
You do have to put in the work – which means completing your check ins, prep, strength and recovery workouts consistently and doing a fresh and post exam at least once a week.
